Staff Development Day - Monday, May 8, 2017
Students Released at 12:45pm

Students:  You are required to show your ID card to get off campus during RTI and Lunch


**PROM is coming - May 13th from 8pm-11pm @ the Convention Center.  Tickets are $25/w ASB sticker, $35/w/o ASB sticker and $45/door (prices are per person).
More information to follow once tickets are available for sale**


SENIOR INFORMATION



UC's and CSU's require that you submit an OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT no later than June 30th.  You must complete A Request for Transcript form in the office.  Any questions - see Mrs. Roebuck.



Seniors - be sure to complete the VTEC Scholarship Application.  The Application has been emailed to your VUSD account.  You can also get a copy of the Application in the office.  DUE DATE IS MAY 15TH.



You must have 94% attendance to participate in graduation activities.  Attend classes daily, on-time, and Saturday School as needed to make up absences.

JUNIOR INFORMATION

Juniors - you should take the SAT prior to December of your Senior year.  The next testing date is June 3, 2017.  Go to: collegeboard.com for more information.The Registration deadline for the June 3rd test is May 9th.  Fee waivers are available - see Mrs. Williams if you have any questions.



05/11/17 --------------------Night for parents of juniors: How to apply to college

*         VUSD District Office, Board Room at 6pm

*         Representatives from CSU admissions, UC admissions and COS's Financial Aid Office

*         District Counselor to cover common application, letters of recommendation, etc.

STUDENT INFORMATION


2017-2018 FFA Chapter Officer Applications can be picked up in Room 14. They are due May 5th to Ms. Thompson.

Beginning Monday students leaving campus at lunch will be scanned out. Students who are academically ineligible, have excess tardies, or have moved to Behavior Intervention Tier 2  will NOT be allowed to leave campus.  Students may be scanned at the main gate and the gate next to Room 12. Students caught leaving without being scanned will lose lunch privileges.


It's Cool to go to School - The drawing to win a car for perfect attendance will be held on May 22nd at 5:30pm.   Will you be eligible??


Drama Club - The VTEC Drama Club will meet Tuesdays at lunch in Room 15.  See Mr. Morgan for details.



Key Club - Meetings every Wednesday at Lunch in Room 9.
