STUDENT INFORMATION

**The Student Store will hold the Grand Re-Opening on Thursday, September 27th - More Information to Follow**

Students:  Reminder - The front parking lot is for staff, parents and visitors only.

Students:  If you order food to be delivered during lunch, the office will NOT accept the delivery.  You must meet the delivery at the front gate.

Students:  If you did not receive a binder or agenda, please stop by the office.

Last Day for Schedule Changes - Friday, August 31st.

Ice Breaker Dance - Friday, September 7th.

TCOE College Night - September 11th - 5:30pm-8:30pm at the AgriCenter in Tulare.

Back to School Night - Thursday, September 27th.

Picture Re-Take Day - Wednesday, October 3rd.

CLUB INFORMATION

8/31    Aggie - AgVentures! Club 11:54am - 12:30pm in The Arbor

*         Learn about mascots, practice playing Aggie

*         Learn what it takes to be an Ag Ambassador and participate in AgVentures! (All students who wish to attend AgVentures! must attend Aggie AgVentures! club meetings!)


9/7       Aggie-AgVentures! Auditions

*         All members attend, audition if desired, support auditions, and have fun!

*         We will schedule upcoming Aggie dates, including the Tulare County Fair.

SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION/PTO


Foundation Meetings- First Thursday of each month at 6 pm in Room 4 - All are welcome!

COS INFORMATION

October 19th - Last day to DROP a COS class with a "W".

COS Strategies for Success...

?  Read and understand course syllabus and add all dates to your phone calendar w/reminders.  Add to your VTEC agenda too!!!

?  Make sure you can sign into your COS Universal login (you will need your banner id and the last 4 digits of your social security number)

?  Visit the COS Welcome Center to get help finding the writing and math labs

?  Organize your binder and agenda

?  Purchase your books

?  Participate in class, take notes, and ask questions

?  Complete quality work and submit on time

?  Visit your instructor during office hours

?  Email your instructor as needed

?  Get to know students in your class and exchange emails and/or phone numbers

?  Speak with your AVID teacher, content area teacher, and/or administrator at VTEC

?  As an Early College, dropping a class should be your last strategy!


Please inform your AVID teacher and Mrs. Williams/Mr. Craft of ALL COS changes (adds AND drops).  Students must be enrolled in classes during all periods.
