STUDENT INFORMATION

ASB Elections for 2nd Semester - Applications in the office. Applications due by November 22nd.  List of open positions are posted in the breezeway.  Any questions - see Mrs. Wullschleger.

CSF Meeting Dates -CSF Meetings will be held on the following dates - all meetings held during lunch -  November 6th, December 4th, February 6th, March 4th, April 2nd and May 6th.  See Mrs. Fraley or Mrs. Williams if you have questions.

FFA Chapter Meeting Dates -November 5th, December 3rd, January 22nd, February 4th, March 3rd, April 1st and the Awards Presentation on May 14th.

Yearbook Information - VTEC Yearbook has created an Instagram. Check it out and post your own VTEC-related pictures to @vtecyb2020.

ASVAB Test - The ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) presentations will be on Thursday, November 7th  in Room 4:


·         All Seniors will test on November 8th

·         All Juniors will test on November 15th

Students:  If you order food to be delivered during lunch, the office will NOT accept the delivery.  You must meet the delivery at the front gate.

Students:  Reminder - The front parking lot is for staff, parents and visitors only.

YEARBOOK INFORMATION

Yearbook Order Forms are available in the office.  Yearbooks are $45 until October 31st.  $50 from November 1-January 31st; $55 from February 1 to April 30th; $60 until sold out.    Senior Pages for sale-$20 for ½ page and $30 for full page (due with pictures by February 1st). See Mrs. Sessions-Owens if you have any questions.

SENIOR INFORMATION

Senior Pages available for sale in the yearbook.  $20 for ½ page, $30 for full page.  See Mrs. Sessions-Owens in Room 15 or get a yearbook order form in the office.  Due by February 1st.

Grad Bash - Friday, May 29th at Universal Studios. More information to follow.  See Mrs. Williams if you have questions.

Congressional Nomination - Congressional Nomination to attend the US Service Academy applications are due November 15th.

COS INFORMATION

Students planning to attend COS in spring 2020 must meet the following deadlines...

October 30th - Concurrent HS Permission Form and COS Request Form due to AVID teachers.  Forms must be complete with all signatures, except Mrs. Williams.  Forms submitted to COS for clearance.

October 31st -AVID Teachers provide Concurrent HS Permission form and COS Request Form to Mrs. Williams for approval.

November 15th - Mrs. Williams will return forms to students by this date.

December 3rd - VTEC COS Priority registration, VTEC Room 4, 8am.  Student must bring completed COS Request Form to register.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

This is a reminder that the 2020-2021 College of the Sequoias Scholarship Application is available.  The application deadline is November 25, 2019.

Instructions to Apply:  Incoming students who have a COS Banner ID will login via their My Giant<https://idp.cos.edu/_layouts/PG/login.aspx?ReturnUrl=/> single sign-on portal and select Foundation Scholarship.
