STUDENT INFORMATION

Icebreaker Dance - September 6th in the Party Barn.

Tulare County College Night - September 10th from 5:30pm-8pm at the Tulare Ag Center.

CSF Meetings -CSF Meetings will be held on the following dates - all meetings held during lunch - September 5th, October 2nd, November 6th, December 4th, February 6th, March 4th, April 2nd and May 6th.  See Mrs. Fraley or Mrs. Williams if you have questions.

Yearbook Information - Student -  Yearbook has created an email account for you to submit your awesome student life, and activities pictures to. Please send all pictures to vtecyb2020 at gmail.com<mailto:vtecyb2020 at gmail.com>.

The International Agri-Center is launching a new Youth Leadership Program this school year. It is open to Tulare and Kings County AND sophomore, juniors, and seniors in high school.    They are currently accepting applications for the Youth Leadership Program. Interviews will be held.  The deadline to submit applications is Friday, September 13th, 2019.

ASVAB Test - The ASVAB test will be administered on Friday, November 15th.  Sign-up in the office if you are interested in taking the test.  See Mrs. Williams if you have any questions.

Students -Dream it Be it Career Conference coming up on Saturday, October 26, 2019.  See the flyer on the bulletin board and see Mrs. Williams for more information.

SCICON Counselors Needed - If you are a Junior or Senior interested in being a SCICON Counselor - sign up in the office or see Mrs. Williams.  The first SCICON training will be Friday, September 6th.

Student Volunteers Needed - Mineral King PTA is looking for student volunteers for their school Carnival.  The Carnival is October 4th from 4pm-8pm.  Please sign up in the office if you are interested.

PSAT Testing - All sophomores and juniors will be taking the PSAT on October 16th.  Go to Khanacademy.org to practice for the PSAT.

Foundation Pancake Breakfast/Fall Festival - October 19th - 7am-12Noon.  Breakfast, pumpkin sales, hayrides, face-painting, raffle, plants sales and more.

Students/Parents - Please sign up to receive the Bulletin daily.  Instructions in the office or see the VTEC website.

Students:  If you order food to be delivered during lunch, the office will NOT accept the delivery.  You must meet the delivery at the front gate.

Students:  Reminder - The front parking lot is for staff, parents and visitors only.

VTEC Decals - VTEC window decals are for sale in the office - $5.

SENIOR INFORMATION

Jostens Cap-N-Gown Orders -  Josten's will be on campus to take cap-n-gown orders - October 10th and October 17th - During AVID in Room 4.

COS INFORMATION

October 18th  -  Final Drop date-students will receive a "W"

December 3rd -   COS Registration for VTEC

Have you heard about The Sequoias College Promise Reimbursement?
First and second year COS students who are attending full-time, and do not qualify for financial aid, can earn a refund of enrollment fees paid.
Here's what they need to do:

?  Complete a 2019-20 year FAFSA or Dream Act Application by October 31, 2019.

?  Enroll in 12 or more units

?  Pass at least 12 units with a "C" or better grade
That's it! The Cashier Office will reimburse enrollment fees paid! See Mrs. Williams if you have any questions.
