Students

Enrollment for the 2022/2023 has opened - Incoming Students interested in enrolling at VTEC for the 2022/2023 school year need to apply on-line by going to the VTEC website. In addition, please submit a hardcopy Application that may be picked up in the office.  Any questions - please call the office at 622-3212.

Winter Formal February 12, 2022, from 8:00pm until 11:00pm at Golden West High School. The Winter Formal will be a formal dress evening under the stars. While the event is outdoors, space heaters and warming pavilions will be onsite.  Negative COVID test must be provided to enter.  Tickets go on sale in the office the week of February 7th.  $15 per person.  This dance is only open to VUSD students.  Students may use one of the 4 High School "COVID Cottages" to test, or go to a clinic for testing (print out the results).  No home tests permitted.   See attached flyer to register to COVID test at VTEC.  Due to ever decreasing COVID numbers we have now approved for students wanting to bring a guest from outside VUSD.   They must adhere to all policies previously enforced as well as provide their own negative test for the dance.  They WILL NOT have access to our testing services and must have the test done by an outside clinic.

Seniors - Cap-n-gown distribution will be Friday, February 25th at 8am in Room 4.  If you have not ordered your cap-n-gown please do so by calling 1-800-Jostens ASAP.

Seniors - Senior cap-n-gown yearbook photos will be Thursday, March 3rd. from 8:30am-10:30am.

CSF Spring Membership Drive -CSF is running it's spring membership drive.  Please pick up an Application in Room 6 and return it with your $5 membership fee. The first CSF meeting will be held Thursday, February 10th during Wolverine time. Any questions, see Mrs. Fraley in Room 6.

Clothing Drive - February 1-14th.  Boxes located in front of the school and near Room 12.  See ASB for more information.

Students -It is almost time to register for classes for next school year.  Please see schedule below.  Mrs. Lalanne will be visiting your English classes.  Any questions - see Mrs. Lalanne in the office.

Class of 2023 will register for next year February 16 & 17 during English class.
Class of 2024 will register for next year February 9 during English class
Class of 2025 will register for next year March 9 & 10 during English class.

Seniors - If you have been accepted to a college/university/armed forces branch - please forward a copy of your acceptance letter to Mrs. Lalanne at mlalanne at vusd.org<mailto:mlalanne at vusd.org>.  We want to be sure to celebrate you!

Seniors - Grad Night - June 3rd - Universal Studios.  $145 due by March 29th.  For more information - see Ms. VanAuken in Room 12.

Seniors - FAFSA Application workshop for Seniors - Wednesday, February 9th (In-Person) 5PM-7PM (Room 4).  Packets will be given to the seniors regarding this workshop.  Contact the office with questions.

Seniors - the VTEC Scholarship Application has been emailed to you.  The Application is due by March 15th at 4pm.  NO late applications will be accepted.

Replacement ID cards are $5 - see Mrs. Gutierrez in the office.

Yearbook-Senior pages on sale:  Full page $25/ Half page $15. Please send all photos, both senior page photos and school event photos to: commpe.pictavo.com (Pictavo). Please label all photos that are uploaded, especially if they are for a senior page (label picture with senior name). All senior pages will be available for sale until March 25th. All photos due by March 25th.

Third party food deliveries will NOT be accepted in the office (parent lunch drop-off ok).  Students must meet third party deliveries during lunch only in front of the school.  Any deliveries before or after lunch will not be accepted.  Thank you -

Students - VTEC is a closed campus.  You will not be allowed to go to your car between classes or at break.

Students - make sure to pick up your free breakfast (before school), snack (during break) and lunch -all are available in the Cafeteria.

Yearbooks are for sale in the office - $55 (exact cash or check).

VTEC car magnets available for sale in the office - $5.00
