[SPRING BREAK - NO SCHOOL | Tri-Cities Prep]

NO SCHOOL 4/11/22-4/18/22 due to Spring Break. School will resume on Tuesday, April 19th.

*         Attention Students: You're invited to apply for the High School Experience Program Conference at the Reagan Ranch June 22nd-25th, 2022 located in beautiful Santa Barbara, California. Students will be selected for the scholarship program based on assessment of documents needed to apply (application & essay). Application and Essay must be submitted by email in PDF format or scan. Essay requested should be no more than one page long and typed in English. Application & Essay must be received on or before April 29th, 2022. *         Attention 9th-11th Grade Students: Want to play a Sport next year? Sports Physicals are MANDATORY! El Diamante Sports Physicals will take place on Wednesday, May 18th from 12-3 PM in the GYM, free of charge. There is a Limit of 300. Pick up the Physical Packet from the Nurse or Student Services Office when school resumes. You MUST turn in the completed packet to the Athletic Director in the Main/Attendance Office by Wednesday, May 4th. You will then be contacted with your physical time. NO LATE SIGNUPS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

*         Visalia Unified School District's After-hours Academic Assistance (AAA) will provide after-hours academic support through a virtual platform. This program is available to all VUSD students grades K-12 at no charge, four evenings a week. Homework assistance will be led by certificated VUSD teachers in all grades and mostly all subjects. The AAA program helps students with homework from content previously covered in class. You MUST have taken and passed with a C or better one of the following courses: Success 101, College/Careers, or Drivers Ed. Please allow 1-3 school days for processing once you submit a request. You will be notified via email when it is ready for pick-up in the Student Services Office. Pink Slip Requests will start being processed when we return to school on April 19th, 2022.

*         Work Permits are processed in the El Diamante Student Services Office. Once the student, parent and employer have filled out and signed the work permit application; please turn the completed work permit in to Ms. Reynolds<mailto:treynolds at vusd.org> in Student Services. You must have a 2.0 GPA to have a Work Permit. Please allow 1-3 school days for processing.
