STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
*       Campus PRIDE
Please be sure to come inside the gates on campus when you arrive in the morning.  No students should be hanging around outside of the gates either in the morning or after school.  This can cause a safety issue.  Thank you for showing your LJ PRIDE by following the rules.
*       EDHS Girl's Water Polo
Anyone 8th grade student who is interested in joining the El Diamante Girl's Water Polo team, please pick up a flyer from the girl's locker room.  Summer session starts June 5th, any questions please contact Coach Young at ryoung at vusd.org<mailto:ryoung at vusd.org>


*   Random Acts of Kindness

Being Kind increases energy! "About half of participants in one study report that they feel stronger and more energetic after helping others; many also reported feeling calmer and less depressed, with increased feelings of self-worth"  This week is Random Acts of Kindness Week. There will be a kindness tree located on the North side of the Library, as well as wooden signs on trees encouraging you to engage in Random Acts of Kindness. There will also be some "Pass it On" cards, so keep your eyes open and keep passing those cards around.

Dress up days will be as follows. Today is "Self-love" Day, so please wear Pink.

Thursday is "Stop Bullying" so wear Red like a stop light

Friday is Heroes are made every day by doing Random Acts of Kindness, so Dress like a Superhero, or wear your favorite hero t-shirt.

There will also be videos each morning, including today (Tuesday). So teachers, please show these videos all week.
Show PRIDE and See how many Random Acts of Kindness you can perform this week!!


*   Garden Club will meet today after school.



*   There will be no RTI this week.



*   PIZZA SALES

ASB is selling pizza this Friday, $2 a slice and $1 for water.


2017-2018 WEB Leader
Attention Prospective WEB Leaders. Applications to be a WEB Leader are available now. If you are interested in being a WEB leader pick up an application in the Pathfinder or Magellan Pod, or the library. Applications are due today, April 28th to Mr. Gridiron in Pathfinder Office. Late applications will not be accepted.



Sports ANNOUNCEMENTS

*   Wednesday 4/19
7th Grade Baseball and Softball are at home vs. Ridgeview, dismissal time is 3:10, start time is 4:00 pm.
Track has a meet at the Mineral King Bowl, dismissal time is 2:45, start time is 4:00 pm.
