STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

*     Student of the Season


Congratulations to 8th grader Dino Giannandrea, who was recognized by the local Sequoia Visalia Kiwanis Club as the La Joya Middle School Student of the Season!  Well done, and thanks for all you do for La Joya!
*       PRIDE Fun Friday
March 17th will be our next Fun Friday.  Remember to show your LJ PRIDE by keeping your grades above a 2.3 in all of your class, be on time to class, show PRIDE by not getting any referrals, and have no unexcused absences.
*       Fiesta School Dance
Today is the day!  La Joya, it's time to Fiesta!  Come dance, play games, eat lots of good food, get a tattoo; we will also have Henna tattoos, and take a picture in the photo booth.  This is our last dance this year, so don't miss out!

*   Time Change This Weekend

It's the time of year again to change your clocks.  Please remember to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to bed Saturday night.
*       School-Wide Fundraiser
Please support our spring school-wide fundraiser in selling Cookie-Dough.  Sales ends Thursday 3-16-17.  The TOP selling 1st period class in both 7th and 8th grade will win a donut party! Top three sellers in both 7th and 8th grade will get to SPIN THE MONEY WHEEL! For a chance to win $100!   Fundraiser money supports student activities such as school dances, end of the year celebration, 8th grade Adventure Park, fun end of the year school activities, and much more.   So sell, sell, sell!!!!

7th Grade Boys Soccer players, please return your gear to Mr. Henderson ASAP to avoid getting fined.
