Good morning Explorers, let's remember to have La Joya PRIDE in everything we do!

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

*Starting Monday, November 27th, students may be able to select a new elective for the beginning of 2nd semester on 1/8/17.  There are currently openings in Beginning Art/Beginning Computers, Drama, Exploring Technology, Choir, AVID and Multimedia.  Students interested in AVID are required to fill out an application.  Applications can be picked up in the main office.  If you are interested in changing your elective, please pick up a schedule change request form from any La Joya office.  Signed forms must be returned to the Main Office by Friday, December 8th.  Requests to change teachers will not be accepted.

*Don't forget the dance this Friday. Tickets go on sale today through Friday at lunch for $5, or before the dance after school. It is sports themed, so we are also going to have sports day Friday. So wear your favorite teams gear, or maybe your La Joya jersey.

* Tonight is the Candy Cane Lane Parade from 6:00pm to 10:00pm.

*Winter Dance is this Friday, Dec. 1st from 3:30pm to 5:00pm in the JLC.

*Choir is selling pizza Friday, $2 a slice and $1 for a water.

*Attention students!  The PTSA Snack Shack is moving from Wednesday to Tuesday!  So, look for it by the gym window this Tuesday, 11/28, right after school.
