Today is a Finals Bell Schedule

Good morning Explorers, let's remember to have La Joya PRIDE in everything we do!

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS


* This is a reminder that finals begin today.  Students will take finals in periods 0, 3, 5 and 7 today, periods 2, 4 and 6 on Tuesday May 29th, and period 1 on Wednesday May 30th.  Students are released from school at 3:13 today  and Tuesday May 29th.  Students are released from school at 12:30 on Wednesday May 30th, Thursday May 31st and Friday June 1st.  Today is the last day for period 0 class.   Food will be served before school and at break only on Wednesday May 30th to Friday June 1st.

*The 8th grade dance is today, Friday, May 25th from 6-9 p.m.<x-apple-data-detectors://3> at Adventure Park.  All attractions are free with the exception of some video games, speed track and snack bar.  Appetizers and drinks will be provided.  Eligible La Joya 8th grade students only.  Dress code will be enforced.  All textbooks and library books must be returned, or fines paid, for 8th graders  to be eligible for the dance.

*There will be no school on Monday, May 28th in observance of Memorial Day.

*Talent show announcement. If your name is on the list on Mr. Harrell's door, you must see him immediately for more information about the talent show.


SPORTS NEWS

*Any track athletes interested in doing summer track there is practice next week, May 29th-31st ( Tuesday-Thursday) at the Golden West stadium at 5:30pm.
