Today is Finals/Minimum Day Bell Schedule

Good morning Explorers, let's remember to have La Joya PRIDE in everything we do!

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS


* Finals will be given in period 1 today.  After break students will attend periods 2 - 7.  Students are released from school at 12:30 today, Thursday May 31st and Friday June 1st.  Food will be served before school and at break only on Wednesday May 30th thru Friday June 1st.

*       Dress Code Reminder
As the weather gets warmer, here is a reminder about the Dress Code.  The Visalia Unified School District Student Conduct Code for grades 7-12 reads as follows:  Clothes shall be worn as intended and be sufficient to conceal undergarments which shall be worn and covered at all times.  See-through or fish-net fabrics, halter tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, off-the shoulder and low-cut tops are not acceptable.  Other types of dress that expose bare midriffs or cleavage are prohibited.  Basketball jersey style tank tops with scooped front, back and armholes are only allowed if worn with a T-shirt with sleeves.  Shirts with cut-off sleeves are not allowed.

*8th Grade Students
Tomorrow is promotion practice during 1st period.  Please report to your first period class as usual at 8:20am.  It is important to be on time and to participate in the promotion practice, so you will know what to do at the ceremony on Friday.

*Attention Drama and Play students: If you participated in the Drama Fundraiser our products will be delivered tomorrow! Please stop by LM3 tomorrow after school to pick up the items you sold. The cookies MUST BE picked up and delivered tomorrow otherwise they will spoil. Please see Mr. Morris if you have any questions.

*Reminder for Talent show participants. There is a mandatory rehearsal today right after school in the gym. See you there!

*Friday, June 1st is the last day of school.
