Today is a finals bell schedule

STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

*1st Semester Finals Schedule
Today is 4th period and 7th period finals.  Students are out at 12:30 p.m.  Please try to have all appointments scheduled outside these times.  Food served before school and at break only.

*Winter Break is from Dec. 23rd through Jan. 10th.  School will resume on Monday, Jan. 13th, with a regular late start Monday bell schedule.  Have a safe and happy break!


sports ANNOUNCEMENTS


The Varsity Lady Explorers pushed pass Green Acres on Wednesday by a score of 40-25.  This was the toughest team the Explorers faced this season and we worked hard in a strong team effort to win in a convincing fashion.  Reyna Soto and Anabelle Navarro lead the way heading up the press and scoring 8pts each.  Olivia Torres backed them up with 7 points.  Nevaeh Creason had an all-around solid game playing aggressive defense and pushing herself on offense and finishing with 7 pts.  Kalisa Holmes and Ashley Bernardo each scored 4 points and played good defense.  Kaitlyn Ramos had her best defensive game forcing multiple turnovers and scored 2pts.  Marissa Huerta came off the bench and played with high energy, ripping down rebounds and playing tough defense.  Way to go team!

On Wednesday the JV boys basketball team defeated Green Acres, 38-24.   Leading the Explorers were Cash Marquez (11 points), Jacob Avila (10), Matthew Perez (7), Ezra Ayers (6), Owen Reimer (3), and Joseph Pena (2). Outstanding defense from Avila, Marquez, Ayers, Pena, Reimer, and Logan Tavarez.


Parent ANNOUNCEMENTS

Please be mindful our of finals schedule, as we have a limited opportunity in which to send passes for students to pick up items. Please try to have all items your child will need, with them when they arrive on campus.
