STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

* College Awareness Week!
It's not too early to start thinking about college. Next week is College Awareness Week!! We will have dress up days, and lunch time activities starting Monday. Earn points for your district!! More information to follow....

Attention Teachers: We will be having a door decorating contest for College Awareness Week next week. You may begin ASAP with your first period class. Judging will be Friday March 1st. You can win district points for the most classes in each district decorated, and the best door wins a donut party. Don't miss out on the door decorating!

*Garden Club meets today after school.

*Looking for something to do this Saturday? Come to WIN Academy. You can play board and computer games with Mr. Hefner, play sports with Mr. Hunt, or get caught up in ELA with       Ms. Moore. On top of that, attending helps you makeup an unexcused absence. If you sign up by today you can have a lunch ordered for you. Sign up through the La Joya website, and encourage a friend to sign up too.

*Attention all CJSF members we will be taking our CJSF group photos tomorrow.   All CJSF members need to meet at the stage tomorrow after school.

*Come out today and watch the Staff vs Students basketball game after school in the gym! Come cheer or boo your favorite teachers and staff. Admission is free, concessions will be available.

*Boys Basketball
Congratulations to our 8th grade boys Basketball team, for winning the league championship this year!  Join us tomorrow at break on the outdoor stage, to recognize their accomplishment!


SPORTS ANNOUNCEMENTS



Baseball and softball tryouts will begin after school February 25th 3:30-5 pm. If you have a glove, please bring it out. Signups will be available in the locker rooms starting Wednesday, or the first day of tryouts with your coach.

Track will begin Monday, February 25th, 3:30-5 pm. Please come prepared to learn your workout, stretch routine and be ready to run.
