STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

* Looking for something to do this Saturday?   Come to Saturday Academy. You can get work done for History with Mr. Saroca, get caught up in English with Ms. Moore, or play some games with Ms. Mederos.  On top of that, attending helps you make up an unexcused absence. Sign up<https://forms.gle/VBWeE2RL1GpwAsZb8> online by Wednesday at 3:00, and you can have a lunch ordered for you. Sign up through the La Joya website, and encourage a friend to sign up too.

*Students, please do not bring any type of glass containers onto campus.   Thank you.

* Dress Code Reminder
A reminder about the Dress Code.  The Visalia Unified School District Student Conduct Code for grades 7-12 reads as follows:  Clothes shall be worn as intended and be sufficient to conceal undergarments which shall be worn and covered at all times.  See-through or fish-net fabrics, halter tops, tube tops, spaghetti straps, off-the shoulder and low-cut tops are not acceptable.  Other types of dress that expose bare midriffs or cleavage are prohibited.  Basketball jersey style tank tops with scooped front, back and armholes are only allowed if worn with a T-shirt with sleeves.  Shirts with cut-off sleeves are not allowed. Hoodies, beanies, or any head gear may not be worn within the classroom.
*AVID is selling pizza today, $2 a slice and $1 for a water.   When bringing money to buy pizza, please do bring anything larger than a $10 bill.

* When you come onto campus in the mornings, cell phones must be turned off and placed in your backpack/bag for the entire day. This includes passing periods, break, and lunch.

The next PTSA meeting will be held Monday, Nov. 18th at 5:30pm in the Library.
