STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

* Looking for something to do this Saturday?  You can play some sports with Mr. Hunt, get caught up on assignments with Ms. Mederos, work in the garden with Ms. Sayre, or if you are in the play this is your rehearsal time. On top of that, attending helps you make up an unexcused absence. *If you have an emergency card, please bring it to the student window before school, at break, lunch or after school.  For those who do not turn in an emergency card, or have one filled out online, lunch detentions are being assigned.

*Hey students!   Are you wishing that the deadline for the 2020 D.C./Virginia trip could be extended?  Well your wish has been granted, and the deadline to sign up has been extended to Oct. 31st!  If you are interested please see Ms. Austerman in Room 407 for details!  This will be an exciting trip!

*Garden Club meets today after school.


Sports ANNOUNCEMENTS

The La Joya JV Football team ran away with their first win of the season beating Ridgview by a score or 19-12.  Key players of the game on offense were Jacob Avila, Sergio Marquez, and Elijah Contreras.  Key players on defense with interceptions wer Jacob Avila, and Sergio Marquez.  Other notable defensive players were Justin Alcala, Joseph Pena and Joey Bediui with all of their great flag pulling.

8th football  @ Green Acres @ 4:00pm ( release time 2:45)
Volleyball @ Ridgeview 3:30pm (release time 2:45pm)

7th grade football practice after school
Cross Country practice after school

Thursday 10/10

Cross Country Meet @ Divisadero @3:45pm (release time 2:15pm)
Football/volleyball practice @ 3:30pm

The next PTSA meeting will be on Monday, Oct. 14th, in the Library at 5:30pm.
