STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS
.

*Hey students!   Great news!  The deadline to sign up for the 2020 D.C./Virginia trip has been extended to Oct. 31st!   For riveting information that will keep you on the edge of your seat, find Ms. Austerman in Room 407 for more details!

*Athletics is selling pizza today, $2 a slice and $1 for a water.
* Hey explorers, next week Oct. 21st through Oct. 25th is Red Ribbon Week.  Monday is Team Day, team up against drugs and wear your favorite jerseys and sports attire. Tuesday is PJ day, put drugs to sleep. Come to school in your comfiest pajama or sleep wear. Wednesday is pink day. This ones pretty self-explanatory, tell drugs that they stink by wearing pink. Thursday is Hawaiian day, Lei off drugs. Finally Friday is Hallow- I mean our totally generic non-specific October dress up day. Dress up in your favorite non-specific October dress up day. Dress code still applies.

*Monday, Oct. 21st is a Minimum Day.  Students are released at 1:30pm

*Reminder to all play participants - play practice is today after school in LM3 until 5:00pm.


Sports ANNOUNCEMENTS

The LaJoya Varsity football team defeated Woodrow Wilson, 20 - 12, on Wednesday. Offensive standouts were Keynen Gomez and Frank Martinez  (Quarterback); Jayden Dillihunt (2 touchdowns); Santana Guijarro (1 touchdown); Jayden Lopez (2-point conversion); and Emmanuel Robles (Running Back). Defensive standouts were David Medina, Jeremiah Gonzalez, Roberto Marquez, Gomez, and Robles.
