STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

*Looking for something to do this Saturday?  Come to WIN Academy. You can get caught up in a class with Ms. Moore.  On top of that, attending helps you make up an unexcused absence. Sign up<https://forms.gle/mVt6cFYEyW7bZnNf8> online by Wednesday at 3:00, and you can have a lunch ordered for you. Sign up through the La Joya website, and encourage a friend to sign up too.

*The deadline to sign up for the 2020 D.C./Virginia trip is now Oct. 31st!   For exciting information, please find Ms. Austerman in Room 407!  This will be a trip that provides you with awesome memories!

*AVID is selling pizza tomorrow, $2 a slice and $1 for a water.
* Hey explorers, starting today through Oct. 25th  it is Red Ribbon Week. Today is Team Day, team up against drugs and wear your favorite jerseys and sports attire. Tomorrow is PJ day, put drugs to sleep. Come to school in your comfiest pajama or sleep wear. Wednesday is pink day. This ones pretty self-explanatory, tell drugs that they stink by wearing pink. Thursday is Hawaiian day, Lei off drugs. Finally Friday is Hallow- I mean our totally generic non-specific October dress up day. Dress up in your favorite non-specific October dress up day. Dress code still applies.

*Today is a Minimum Day.  Students are released at 1:30pm.

*There will be a Choir concert this Thursday, Oct. 24th at 6:00pm in the JLC.  We have a very talented choir, so come on out and enjoy a great evening of music!


Sports ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Girls Varsity Volleyball Team defeated Divisadero on Wednesday 27-25, 25-20.  Kaili Kiser started a big comeback in the first game with 5 straight service points, while Amber Dresp led the way in the second game with 4 kills.  Great job ladies.  Their next game will be Tuesday at home against Green Acres.
