STUDENT ANNOUNCEMENTS

* Looking for something to do tomorrow?  Come to WIN Academy.  You can get work done on your semester project (or on other work) with Ms. Austerman or play some sports with Mr. Hunt.  On top of that, attending helps you make up an unexcused absence. Sign up<https://forms.gle/C3DcrydgwRwD6ePx8> through the La Joya website, and encourage a friend to sign up too.

*Congratulations to Matthew Z. Avila, Andrew Cox, Sydney Fifield, Ryan Gaeta, David Gonzalez Gonzalez, Brynn Lanning, Isabella Villarreal and Grace Yates for showing Respect and winning the Character Counts award for October.

* Time Change
    Set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed tomorrow night.

*Band is selling pizza today, $2 a slice and $1 for a water.

*Reminder to all play participants - play practice is today after school in LM3 until 5:00pm.


Sports ANNOUNCEMENTS

Cross country had their league meet last Thursday. Notable finishers were: Noemi Santacruz 7th grade girls, Troy Loftin 1st place for 7th grade boys, Rylee McDaniels 8th grade, Emmanuel Santacruz 1st place, Beckham Ybarra 2nd place and Chance Ybarra 3rd place for 8th grade boys.

Cross Country awards will be Tuesday, Nov. 5th at 3:45 in the Gym.
