"It's Cool to Go to School III"

Ø  The high school attendance incentive program-"It's Cool to Go to School"-is back!  Any student with PERFECT attendance this year is automatically entered into the drawing for a new Nissan Versa, courtesy of the Groppetti Automotive Family.  There are two ways to achieve PERFECT attendance this year; please visit your Attendance Office for contest rules.

1. Are you interested in being in ASB? If so, stop by K5 and pick up an application. Reminder that and applications for the class are due April 24th.

2. Need help in your classes? Come to PM Tutorial. We have tutors specialize in all levels of Math, English, Science, Social Science, and Spanish. Our tutors are ready to help!

Ø  Have questions concerning College or Careers? Come and visit you College and Career Ambassador at the library before and after school.

Ø  Interested in joining a club? Come to S-11 and find out about the various opportunities

3. Hey future link leaders! Applications for next year are now available in the front office and in K-7. Swing by before, at lunch or after school to pick up an application! They are due today April 21st!

4. If you would prefer to take History online for summer school, instead of regular summer school, you must sign up in the counseling office. Spots are limited; it is first come first serve.

SPORTS BULLETIN

April 20

Congratulations to varsity boy's soccer player Jose Mendoza for being named the WYL Co-Player of the Year.  Also, congratulations to Eric Ledesma, Jose Gomez and Isaiah Ceballos for being named to the WYL All-League 1st-Team and Kevin Nunez for being named to the WYL All-League 2nd-Team.

Great job to the Varsity softball team who gave Redwood all it could handle yesterday before coming up just short in their 5-4 loss to the Rangers.  Leading the Lady Pioneers were Kaitlyn Coffman and Adriana Saenz with 2 hits each and Ashley Rojo with a big first inning home run.

Attention all baseball players, reminder about the "Student-Athletes and Leadership" presentation by the Visalia Rawhide players on Monday, April 24.  All baseball players are to report to the PE classroom  at 11:50am.  Lunch will be provided.

Anyone interested in playing girls basketball, please come by I-7 before the end of the school year to pick up a summer practice schedule. Coach Lopez.

Softball game vs. Hanford has been rescheduled for Monday, April 24 at 4:30pm.

Teachers, please excuse the boys tennis team today at 2:15, the bus will leave for Hanford West at 2:30, and the swim/dive team today at 2:45 for home meet vs. El Diamante.  For Friday, April 21, please excuse the track team at 1:45, the bus will leave for Granite Hills at 2:00, the softball team at 2:30, the bus will leave for Golden West at 2:45, and the Frosh and JV baseball teams at 2:45 for home game vs. Lemoore.  There are no early outs for the Varsity baseball team, game time is 7:00pm.  Thank you and good luck to all our student-athletes.

Club Notes

1. Mecha Club is meeting every Thursday at lunch in T2. Everyone is welcome!

2. Medical Careers Club Meeting next Friday 4/28 at 1:10 in U-3.  We will discuss end of year events!  Be there and tell your friends!
3. There will be a meeting next Tuesday April 25th in M-6 at lunch. We will have an awesome guest speaker and lunch will be provided. All are welcome!
4. PLS (the poetry club) will meet next week Tuesday at lunch in J-5.
