Student Notes

1. Landed a job and need a work permit?  Come to the front office and pick up an application with Mrs. Villalobos
2. Juniors and Seniors if you are interested in becoming a Scicon counselor and are in good standing with grades and attendance please see Mrs. Villalobos in the main office for available dates.


3. Reminder---- picture day is tomorrow  (for freshman, sophomores, and juniors this will be your ID card picture and yearbook picture).  Seniors----- pictures tomorrow are for your ID card, but Essence photography will be on campus September 6th and 7th to take pictures for the yearbook.  More information will come to you about this in the coming weeks, but please remember there is a second picture day for the yearbook.


4. Preseason girls JV and Varsity soccer meeting for all athletes planning on playing soccer will be Wednesday 8/23/23 3:30-4:30, right after school in room S-12.

5. Back to School Night will be Monday August 28th information will be sent out at a later time.

6.Yearbooks are on sale now for the lowest price of the year!  They can be purchased online at Jostens.com or in room B-207.  Cost is $90 and the price will go up soon,  so get yours now

7. Mount Whitney! If you're interested in joining the E Sports team for the Fall season, we are meeting in B-204 after school on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week to plan practices and team rosters. See you there! ,


8. “The weight room is open after school Monday thru Friday for an after school Fitness class. Please, come on over and join us in your fitness journey.”

“Library is open before school starts, come in and stay cool on these hot mornings!”

“XL is looking for tutors – come to S11 to get your application.”



Club Notes:

“Chess Club meets Wednesday and Thursday during Lunch next to the Cafeteria. Show up and get checkmated! We also meet after-school Wednesdays in the Library. Come on by and play a few games.”

 Upcoming Events:

Workability/Student Worker Orientation is Thursday August 17th  10:30-11:30 in the PE Classroom.  Requirements are 16 and over, who has an IEP. Any questions please contact India Holliquest.
