NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

1.       CHIPOTLE FUNDRAISER!!!  Support REDWOOD ART with Burritos!  Tuesday April 3rd anytime between 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., buy anything from Chipotle (South Mooney, near Target) and say it's for Redwood to help support our program!!  (Who wants to cook right after getting back from vacation anyway??)

2.       STAFF DEVELOPMENT DAY on Monday April 9th.  Students release at 1:53 p.m.
PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.       SPRING BREAK will be from Monday March 26th thru Monday April 2rd.  Students return to school on Tuesday April 3rd.

2.       Applications of LINK CREW 2018-2019 are available. If you are interested in being a part of our annual Freshman Orientation, Freshman Tailgate, Haunted House, AND mainly Getting to know and welcome new students to the Redwood Campus we would love for you to join our team of Link Leaders. Applications can be found in the main counseling office and with Mrs. Wall in PE. All apps are due on April 19th so don't wait to pick yours up time will fly by.

3.       ATTENTION STUDENTS AND PARENTS:  Beginning on Tuesday April 3rd the Dollner Gate on the Sierra Vista Campus will NO LONGER BE AN ENTRY POINT FOR STUDENTS!!  This gate will remain locked before, during and after school.  All students or visitors must use the Main Door on Dollner to enter and exit the Sierra Vista Campus.

Criteria: 2.5GPA or better, plan to pursue a career in any transportation related fields

Anita de la Vega Scholarship
The FHCN is offering a $600 scholarship to a student who meets the following criteria: female student preferred, 2.5GPA or above, migrant or seasonal farm working family background, community service, and pursuing a health degree.

7.       BLUE DIAMOND GROWERS SCHOLARSHIP
Criteria: a)Scholastic Achievement; b)Leadership Qualities such as participation in 4-H, FFA, church, clubs, student government and civic organizations; c)Financial need; d)Strong consideration will be given to applicants in the almond growing areas of California.

8.       California Women for Agriculture Scholarship

Criteria: 3.4 gpa or above, planning to major in Agriculture

9.       Calcot-Seitz Foundation
Amount: Up to $3,000
Criteria: Plan to major in agriculture at a four-year university.

10.   Central Valley Women's Network
Amount: $1,000
Criteria:
*         The applicant must have a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
*         Applicants must have a Grade Point Average of at least a 3.0 (B average) for the most recent academic year.
*         The criteria for scholarship selection will be based on varying degrees of the following:  academics, school and community involvement, stated goals and career objectives.
*         The applicant must be at least 17 years of age.
*         The applicant must be a resident of Tulare or Kings County.
