TODAY:

1.       CHIPOTLE FUNDRAISER!!!  Support REDWOOD ART with Burritos!  TODAY anytime between 4:00 - 8:00 p.m., buy anything from Chipotle (South Mooney, near Target) and say it's for Redwood to help support our program!!  (Who wants to cook right after getting back from vacation anyway??)

NEW ANNOUNCEMENT:

1.       RED INK extends a big thank you to everyone who contributed pieces to the WRITING ON THE WALLS CONTEST.  Finalists have now been notified.  If you contributed writing on paper and would like your pieces back please come by Room 103 to pick them up.  Art will be returned after Poets On the Plaza April 13th.  Thanks again to everyone who contributed.  Stay tuned for more info about Poets On the Plaza where the winners will be announced.
PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1.       STAFF DEVELOPMENT DAY on Monday April 9th.  Students release at 1:53 p.m.

2.       Applications of LINK CREW 2018-2019 are available. If you are interested in being a part of our annual Freshman Orientation, Freshman Tailgate, Haunted House, AND mainly Getting to know and welcome new students to the Redwood Campus we would love for you to join our team of Link Leaders. Applications can be found in the main counseling office and with Mrs. Wall in PE. All apps are due on April 19th so don't wait to pick yours up time will fly by.

1.       Pursuing Victory with Honor Scholarship
Criteria: 3.0gpa, exhibit exceptional sportsmanship, student athlete

2.       Read for Life
Criteria: Students must be a graduating high school senior in Tulare County, have a minimum of 50 hours of volunteer service outside of school, which focuses on improving literacy in Tulare County, cumulative GPA of 2.5, plan on attending a college, university, or trade school in the US.

3.       Valley Oak Quilt Guild
Amount: $750
Criteria: interest in continuing education in fiber arts or quilting.

4.       California Association of Supervisors of Child Attendance and Welfare-Anthony Brucia Success Award Requirements:
   1. A Personal Narrative, which tells your story. It describes the obstacles you have faced, your progress despite difficulties and your plans for future success       2. Two letters of recommendation  3. Activities record and employment history  4. Transcript - freshman through first semester of your senior year   5. 5.       Sequoia Chapter/Triple X Fraternity Scholarship
Amount: $1,000
Criteria: Armenian descent, pursuing college education.

6.      The Academies Alumni Scholarship

7.       Visalia Unified Teachers Association
Criteria: Must have a 3.0gpa or better and plan to major in education studies to become a teacher.
